Working with Clay Youth Project

Title: ‘Sweet Sixteen’
Together with the youth group we have created an interactive Sweet Sixteenth birthday party. Combining the real with the imaginary, the youth group has used their future birthdays as a plan for their project.
Materials used include clay, plaster, and papier-mâché, to create cakes, dishes, and the party food. They also created all the decorations and presents from scratch.
It was an all round collaborative effort involving all. The end was an actual ‘party’ held in the CLAY building to show off all that was created.
